DISCOVER THE RENAISSANCE SCHOOL OF DANCE

The Renaissance School of Dance is one of the leading dance schools in Papatoetoe, Auckland.

We aim to encourage a widespread love of dance as we nurture our students’ confidence and self-esteem.

ABOUT THE RENAISSANCE SCHOOL OF DANCE

Located in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe, The Renaissance School of Dance is the most comprehensive dance facility within the Manukau region.

It is important to us at RSD that all members of our team share our vision, our purpose and the philosophy that encompasses everything we do, both in and outside of our classes. This is a vision that is shared and demonstrated by the directors, teachers and staff members at our studio and it is the driving force behind every interaction with our students and their families.

The teachers at The Renaissance School of Dance have a vast range of experience across disciplines. Our collective approach is to share our love of dance while being supportive and encouraging.

What We Believe In

At The Renaissance School of Dance (RSD,) we could say we strive for providing excellence and high-quality dance classes…but it’s much more than that.

Every day we are committing to growing, creating and learning together.

At RSD we grow resilient human beings who live with a sense of belonging and pride of self & place.

We encourage diversity, where everyone is respected and included. We are passionate about providing open communication, and awesome experiences for our families to shine.

Ultimately, we have a passion, joy and love for dance and strive to create a safe environment with strong role models where everyone is free to express who they are (and more!).

Welcome to the RSD Family…the family you can choose.

Miss Margs

Founder

“My classes provide opportunities for dancers to grow and shine! I encourage every student to improve on one thing, THEIR thing and not compare themselves to others. We are all on our own journey, but doing it together makes it that much better!
When students leave my studio, the one thing I want them to walk away feeling is proud that they have something to contribute to our world!”

Marguerite founded The Renaissance School of Dance in Papatoetoe in 2004. She can teach all dance styles, but prefers to oversee the whole studio. She has been dancing herself since she was 3 years old, doing exams, performing and choreographing in various events, including Santa Parades, music videos, jubilees, festivals and in the theatre.
